Pearl of Andalucia
A special week at the center of flamenco culture, breeding the best Andalusian horses, elegance at every turn and eternal fiesta. We will ride pure-bred Spanish PRE (Pura Raza Española) horses along the sandy paths of Doñana National Park in the discreet company of Iberian lynxes and PRE mares. We will spend 2 days on the wide Atlantic beach, we will live in the unique El Rocio, we will visit the royal riding school, Real Escuela Andaluza Del Arte Ecuestre (in May we will join the most elegant horse event in the world Feria del caballo in Jerez) We will visit the dazzling royal palace Real Alcazar de Sevilla known from the TV series Game of Thrones.
Throughout the stay we will be accommodated in a finca in the direct company of our horses Breakfast and dinner will be eaten at our hotel, while picnic lunches will be waiting for us every day on the route.
 
Detailed travel plan
1. Saturday. Pickup from Seville Airport
Transfer from the airport to the hotel in El Rocio.
2. Sunday. Around El Rocio, pinar
After breakfast, we will get to know the horses and set off on a ride along the sandy roads of the south, watching the characteristic landscape and passing charming villages. We will also get to know a unique village, within the shorter station, El Rocio built for horses, friendly for mares raising their foals on the surrounding pastures.
 
3. Monday. El Rocio, dehesa and marisma
Today we will learn about two types of locally occurring ecosystems. We will pass through dehesa - dry open pastures where slow-walking mares raise their foals. We will also hide in a closed green vegetation tunnel leading on the banks of the Gudalkawir River formerly delimiting the border of Al Andaluz, the Moorish country. We will cross the Quema River, where pilgrims are baptized during the March pilgrimage to the Cathedral of El Rocio.
 
4. Tuesday. Transfer to Jerez de la Frontera and a visit to the royal riding school "Real Escuela Andaluza Del Arte Ecuestre" where we will see an artistic performance showing the use of Spanish horses. After dinner we will return to Sevilla to visit the breathtaking, the world's most amazing palace Real Alcazar de Sevilla. Return to the hotel.
 
5. Wednesday. Around El Rocio, dehesa and Pinar
We return to the horses and with additional luggage of knowledge about the versatility of PRE horses we will go to enjoy the wide sandy roads surrounding the unique village of El Rocio, as well as cool beer served to the height of the rider. Ole!
 
6. Thursday. Dunes and beach
After breakfast, we will go to the horses and start enjoying the beach, where we will spend most of the day enjoying the open space, ocean breeze, walks on the dunes and gallops on the compacted sand.
  
7. Friday. Dunes and beach
We will repeat the charming ride on the beach to be saturated with it before returning home.
Farewell dinner with bonfire and flamenco singing.
 
8. Saturday.
Transfer to the airport of Seville.
